The corrected number of deaths in the parish from all causes during the corresponding quarters of the year 1877-1886 was as under:—

In the public institutions in the parish there were 126
deaths, viz., 17 in the Workhouse, 19 in the Paddington Infirmary,
8 in the Children's Hospital, 2 in the Lock Hospital, and 80 in
St. Mary's Hospital. The 17 deaths in the Workhouse and the
19 deaths in the Paddington Infirmary, being regarded as those of
parishioners, are included in the 288 deaths in St. Mary's Subdistrict.
55 of the deaths in St. Mary's Hospital were of
non-parishioners, as were also 7 of the deaths in the Children's
Hospital and the 2 deaths in the Lock Hospital, and are therefore
not dealt with in this report.
In extra parochial hospitals and institutions within the Metropolis, there were 26 deaths of parishioners, as under: —
