REPORT
TO THE VESTRY OF PADDINGTON,
Vestry Hall ;
July 12th, 1871.
Gentlemen,
I have the honor of presenting to you my Fourth
Annual Report on the Sanitary condition of the Parish.
In so doing I have endeavoured to place on record
those data and statistics of population and disease
which I trust may be of value for some future reference.
I have also ventured to allude to some of those evils
which it is believed may be controlled, or entirely
removed by future Sanitary Legislation, in which your
efforts and co-operation are invited.
According to the preliminary returns of the census, the population of Paddington, as a sub-district of Kensington, stands thus in April 1871:—
Sub-Districts. | Inhabited Houses. | Population. | Increase in 10 years. |
---|---|---|---|
