Ratcliff.—
148 fret run of 12-in. pipe sower, and 26 feet run of 6-in. pipe
sewer in Horseferry Road.
The following works have also been carried out by the
Contractor to the Board, viz.:
A new Gulley in Caroline Street, Ratcliff.
13 Gullies repaired.
4 new Gulley Grates supplied and fixed.
1 Ventilator raised.
2 new Meter Boxes supplied and fixed.
1 Block Trap fixed.
The whole of the small brick and pipe sewers throughout the
District have hern flushed by the mm employed by the Board. with
water supplied by the Last London Water Works Company.
HOUSE DRAINAGE.
94 Buildings (including 36 New Structures and eight Blocks of
Artizans' Dwellings) have been connected with the Sewers, and the
following works executed in connection therewith, viz.:—
477 feet of 9-in. pipe drain laid.

1,327 „ „ 4-in. „ „ „
86 Closet Tans and Traps fixed.
112 Sinks and Traps fixed.
PAVING.
New Footway paving has been laid down as follows, viz. ;—
Limehouse.—Parts of Salmon Lane, Stains by Road, Burdett
Road, Farrance Street, Dixon Street, Copenhagen Place, Commercial
Road, Church Row, White Horse Street, Carr Street, Rhodeswel1
Road, North Street, and Parnham Street.
Ratcliff.—Parts of London Street, York Road, York Street
East and West, and Palmer Street.
Shadwell.—Parts of High Street, Wapping Wall, and West
Gardens
