69 applications have been received for cleansing and reconstructing old
drains, and the following works executed in connection therewith—
50 feet of 18 in. brick drain.

5 Cesspools cleansed.
PAVINGS.
New footway paving has been laid in the following streets and places,
viz.—
Limehouse—Part of Pigott Street.
Ratcliff—Part of the south side of Commercial Road and York
Square ; footway opposite White Horse Terrace.
Wapping—High Street.
Mr. Cotton has paved the footway on the west side of the Burdett Road,
from the Cut Bridge to the boundary of the district.
Old footway paving of the following places have been relaid—
Ratcliff—Ann Street, Ohren's Court, part of footway on the west
side of Stepney Church yard, Durham Row, and Broad Street.
Wapping—High Street.
New carriage-way paving has been laid in the following places, viz.—
Ratcliff—Part of Love Lane, and part of White Horse Street with
wood paving.
Shadwell—Part of Love Lane.
