COLLECTION OF DUST.
Parish of Lewisham.
The horses for the dust carts were supplied, in the Blackheath
and Lewisham Division, by Mr. Wm. Joy, at 5s. 3d. per horse
and harness per day; in the Sydenham and Forest Hill Division,
the horses were supplied by Mr. Wm. Stimpson, at 5s. 3d. per
horse and harness per day. Mr. Richard Winnifrith supplied the
horses, harness and carts in the Hamlet of Penge at 4s. 6d. per
horse, harness and cart per day. All the men and boys were
engaged by the Board, and in the Parish of Lewisham the Board
provided the carts.
