The old wood pavement in Blackheath Village was taken up
and replaced by Jarrah wood pavement. This work was executed
by Mr. Wm. Griffiths.
Hamlet of Penge.
No new work was carried out in the Hamlet of Penge during
the year.
TAR-PAVEMENT.
Parish of Lewisham.
In Waldram Road 595 superficial yards of new Tar-pavement
were laid. 13,779 superficial yards of old Tar-pavement
were taken up and relaid, and 29,402 superficial yards were tarpainted,
i.e., coated with hot tar and sand.
Hamlet of Penge.
5791 superficial yards of old Tar-pavement were taken up
and relaid, and 2801 superficial yards tar-painted; no new Tarpavement
was laid.

NEW STREETS.

The following table shows the New Streets which were paved and formed under the 105th section of the Metropolis Local Management Act:—

the following Streets, under the 105th section of the
Metropolis Local Management Act, were prepared and submitted.
