Note.—The Establishment Expenses of the Board are in the first instance apportioned between
Parish of Lewisham and Hamlet of Penge, on the basis of rateable vnlue, and such expenses are
ether apportioned between the Expenditure for the year in the Parish and Hamlet respectively
der the heads of General Purposes and Sewerage Purposes, in the proportion of one half to each
count respectively.
The Rateable Value adopted as the basis of apportionment is the same as adopted by the Metrolitan
Board of Works and the School Board for London for the year 1873, viz.,
