The total cost of the Highways in the Parish of Lewisham,
for labour, cartage, material, &c., was £5,219 16s. 11d., including
the sum of £1501 13s. 8d., the expense of former New Cross
Roads. The cost of Highways in the Hamlet of Penge for labour,
cartage, material, &c., was £1,440 1s. 11d.
