diseases, in the entire parish, and in its several sub-divisions.

From the above Table,it appears that the mortality caused
by cpidcmic disease constituted less than one-fifth of the
entire mortality.
The latter part of the year 1859 was marked by an outbreak
of Small-pox, which was observed upon in the Vestry's
previous Annual Report. The disease maintained its full
prevalence during the first quarter of 1860, after which it
rapidly subsided. The deaths from small pox in the eight
quarters of the years 1859 and 1860, were consecutively
4+7+10+38 = 59, and 42 +12+ 2 + 2 = 58.
Of all cpidcmic diseases, measles was the only one which
showed a decided increase. There were 120 fatal cases
registered, instead of only 53, as in the preceding year. The
