(2) That having regard to the Report of your Surveyor your
Committee resolved to recommend—That your Surveyor be
authorised to purchase seeds for the Recreation Grounds at a
cost not exceeding £3.
(3) That your Surveyor further reported and your Committee
considered as to the Ben Jonson Road &c. Improvement, and
resolved to recommend—That in the joint memorial of the
Limehouse Board of Works and this Vestry, to be presented
to the London County Council, praying that the Council will
widen Ben Jonson Road and Victory Bridge, it be stated that
this Vestry is willing to contribute one fourth of the cost of
the Improvement.
(4) That your Clerk read a letter of the 8th inst., from the
London County Council, stating that the Council had given
consent to Messrs. Loxley & Morley to the rebuilding of the
old "Plough"Tavern, No. 606, Mile End Road, upon the
conditions named therein, and as shown on accompanying
plan.

the Hamlet was referred to No. 2 Committee for consideration
and report.
