(2) That your Committee recommend your Board to authorise
your Committee to issue advertisements inviting tenders, for
the carrying out of the various works as soon as the Committee
have gained possession of all the properties.
(3) That your Surveyor submitted to your Committee the
question of the advisability of purchasing the forecourts on
the West side of Harford Street, between Ernest Street and
Shandy Street, and your Committee resolved to recommend
—That your board authorise your Committee to inspect the
site referred to, and to report to your Board on the matter.
(4) That your Committee resolved to recommend—That so
much of the premises, Nos. 1 and 3, Bridge Street, as are not
required for the improvement, with the businesses attached
thereto, be sold by auction at an early date.
That your Committee resolved to recommend—That all
the auctioneers in the Hamlet be written to, asking the terms
upon which they would undertake the sale of the two properties
in Bridge Street.
(5) That your Committee resolved to recommend—That the
old structures, fixtures and fittings, be sold by public tender.
