During 1930 43 applications had to be held over until the beginning of 1931 as the
London County Council had a very large number of preferential recommendations
from the Fulham Borough Council in hand, and were unable to accept any more
for the time being.
As already pointed out, the above figures only
include families specially recommended by the borough
council and 701 applicants, who applied directly to the
London County Council, were also accommodated,
bringing the total number of Fulham families accommodated
up to 1,115. Of the 1,115 families, 130 entered
into occupation in 1930.
