We note that £15,205 18s. 0d. is due from contributors on New
Streets, of which we observe £3,523 0s. 5d. is due on streets completed
and that on the whole a large proportion of the amount is due
from a few owners, and we think that some strong steps should be
taken to get in these outstanding amounts.
We see that the Vestry have paid £594 7s. 3d. for disinfecting
goods during the past year and we think the time has arrived when
the Vestry should build for the parish a disinfecting apparatus, as we
are of the opinion that a great saving would result thereby.
We have much pleasure in stating that the accounts have been
kept in a very satisfactory manner and presented to us much earlier than
usual, and must thank Mr. R. H. Meyer the Accountant and other
officers of the Vestry for the courteous manner in which they have
assisted us during the audit.
Signed
A. G. Spells,
Henry T. Harrison,
William Darbydhire,
Auditors.
Dated this 11th day of May, 1893.
