LIGHTING RATE.
Hammersmith Vestry for Lighting, Repairing, Maintaining, &c., as per
Metropolitan Board's Order, the nine Lamps situate in that portion of
the Hammersmith Road in Fulham Parish, at £2 each; = Gas,
£10 2s. 6d.; Lighting, £4 10s.; Maintenance, £1 2s. 6d. ; Columns,
£1 2s. 6d.; Sundries, £1 2s. 6d.
Gas Light and Coke Company for the estimated cost of 1,330 ordinary
5-ft. Lamps, at 2,500 hours each for two winter quarters ; for the
estimated cost of 27 large (average 25-ft.) Lamps on refuges, at 2,500
hours each per two winter quarters ; and for lighting all Lamps.
Ungar and Co., for cost of (say) 30 removals of small Lamps at 10s. each,
and for fixing complete (say) 20 new columns at 15s. each, and for
general maintenance of all the Lamps.:—
