cromwell road bridge
The construction of this Bridge is still being delayed owing to
the failure of the London County Council to obtain the sanction of
Parliament to the principle of betterment
The proposals were to levy a special rate to cover one-third of
the cost of the Bridge, the Vestry also to pay one-third, and the
London County Council the remaining third
If the Bridge is not constructed the injury to the North End of
the Parish will be very serious I, therefore, again beg to call the
attention of the members of the Vestry to the importance of this
improvement
