SEWERS.
The length of main sewers in the parish, that is sewers belonging
to the Metropolitan Board, is 3½ miles.
The length of sewers belonging to the Vestry is 4 miles of bricks,
and 25 miles, 1,240 yards, of pipe sewers.
In my last year's report I printed on page 103 a full report on
the sewers of Fulham, to which I beg to refer those interested,
and I especially desire to call attention to Nos. 5, 6, 7, and 8 recommendations
in reference to the ventilation of sewers. In all cases, where
possible, I have fixed new ventilating manhole covers (weight 5 cwt. 2 qrs.
131bs) in place of the non-ventilating covers formerly used.

SEWERS LAID DURING YEAR ENDING 30th APRIL, 1888.
