ACCOUNTANT'S REPORT
and
AUDITORS' CERTIFICATE,
For the Year ending March 25th, 1888.

The Vestry of the Parish of Fulham,

Vestry Hall, Walham Green, S.W.

AUDITORS' CERTIFICATE.

£s.d.
We, the undersigned Auditors of the Accounts of the Vestry of the Parish of Fulham, for the financial year ending 25th March, 1888, hereby certify that we have examined the books of the Vestry, and have compared the vouchers with the cheques, and we find the Balance9,38749
at the Bankers to be correct, and allowing for the outstanding cheques amounting to46802
The Balance to be8,91947
We have also examined the Loan Account of the Vestry, and we find that the Loans amount to35,022108
We wish to state that having carefully looked over the Solicitor's Bills of Costs, we are of opinion that many of the cases which the costs refer to might have been carried out by the Officers of the Vestry.*
We also wish to state that in going over the paid vouchers, we find a charge of £16 for hire of a gig for 32 weeks, and we are of opinion that the cart was hired for too long a time, and that the amount is excessive.

*Note,—The Fulham Vestry, at a Meeting held on May 23rd, 1888, refused to
accept this Clause,
