Orders were received from the Metropolitan Board of Works for the re-naming streets, abolishing subsidiary names, and re-numbering houses in the following, viz.:—

Street Obstructions.
During the year 28 cases of street obstructions occurred in the
Northern District of the Parish, and, under the direction of the Clerk
to the Vestry, Inspector Croucher took out the necessary Summonses,
which were heard at the Kensington Petty Sessions, with the following
results:—
In two cases the Defendants were fined Gd. each.
In six cases the Defendants were fined 1s. and 1s. costs each.
In ten cases the Defendants were fined 5s. and 1s. costs each.
In one case the Defendant was fined 10s. and 2s. costs.
In two cases the Defendants were fined £l and £s. costs each.
In one case the Defendant was fined £2 and 1s. costs, and in
default of payment a Distress Warrant to issue ; and
In one case the Defendant was fined £3 and 1s. costs.

Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1875.

One hundred and twenty-one Samples were analysed during the year ended the 24th June, 1888, under the provisions of the above and amending Acts, viz.:—
