Vestry of the Parish of Fulham
FOR THE YEAR 1887-8.

Population.

The following Statement will show the rateable value, population, and number of houses, at various periods from 1850 to 1880.

Election of Vestrymen.
On the 28th May, 1888, the day appointed by the Vestry, the Annual
Election of Vestrymen and Auditors took place at the undermentioned
places:—
North End Ward, at May Street, Schoolroom.
Walham Ward, at St. John's National Schools, Walham Green.
South Fulham Ward, at Ayshford's Carriage Works, Britannia
Road.
The cost of the Election, as certified by the Churchwardens,
amounted to £28 13s. 4d., and the Vestry, on the 1st August, 1888,
passed the order for payment of same out of the Poor Rate of the
Parish, as provided by Act of Parliament.
Overseers.
On the 3rd April, 1888, the Justices of the Peace for the Kensington
Division appointed Messrs. Thomas Goodacre, John Thomas Howland,
and Thomas Baxter to be Overseers of the Poor for the year 1888-9.
