The number of cases of Tuberculosis on the Register at the end of 1932, and the changes which have taken place during the year, are as follows:-

The ratio of non-notified tuberculosis deaths to the total
tuberculosis deaths was as 1 to 8.55 as compared with 1 to 11.65
in 1931.
Thorn was no evidence of excessive incidence or mortality
from tuberculosis in any particular occupation of the persons who
died in 1932.
Disinfection.
Disinfection of rooms and their contents is offered in all eases
of pulmonary tuberculosis dying at home, or on removal to
Hospital or Sanatorium.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulation. 1925.
These Regulations confer powers upon Local Authorities to
prohibit. persons suffering from respiratory tuberculosis entering
upon an occupation involving the handling of milk, and to provide
for the compulsory cessation of the employment of persons engaged
in the handling or treatment of milk when found to be suffering
from the disease in an infectious stage.
No occasion arose during tho year to take action under these
Regulations.
The Borough Tuberculoma Dispensary.
The Council's Tuberculosis Dispensary is situated at 19,
Brunswick Square, and is open every weekday.
