Perhaps I may be permitted to acknowledge the
zeal and intelligence displayed by our Inspectors in
this case, and the untiring devotion with which they
watched so as to prevent imposition.
Of the 29 milks brought by the Inspectors, nine
were adulterated, or at the rate of 31 per cent.
Besides the cases in which certificates were given,
