£1000—Balance of Mortgage of Rates for £ 10,000, borrowed of the Corporation of the Royal Exchange Assurance in December, 1865, toward
defraying cost of Paving Footways of "Old Streets" and to be repaid by twenty equal annual instalments, with interest at £5 per
cent. per annum.
£2000—Balance of Mortgage of Rates for £10,000 borrowed of the Corporation of the Royal Exchange Assurance in July, 1867, towards
defraying cost of Paving Footways of "Old Streets," and to be repaid by twenty equal annual instalments, with interest at £5 per
cent. per annum.
£3200—Balance of Mortgage of Rates for £16,000, borrowed of the London Life Association in December, 1867, for defraying the cost of
Paving the Carriageways of Hackney road and Whitechapel road, and to be repaid by twenty equal annual instalments with
interest at £5 per cent. per annum, to be reduced to £4 10s. per cent. per annum on payment of instalments of principal and
interest within thirty days after they respectively become due.
£2100—Balance of Mortgage of Rates for £7000, borrowed of the London Life Association in April, 1869, for defraying the cost of Paving the
Carriageway of Green street, and the unpaved portion of the Carriageway of Bethnal green road, and to be repaid by twenty equal
annual instalments, with interest at £5 per cent. per annum, to be reduced to £4 10s. per cent. per annum on payment of the instalments
of principal and interest within thirty days after they respectively become due.
£3000—Balance of Mortgage of Rates for £10,000 borrowed of the London Life Association in March, 1870, for defraying the cost of Paving
Footways of "Old Streets,'' and to be repaid by twenty equal annual instalments, with interest at £5 per cent. per annum, to be
reduced to £4 10s. per cent. per annum on payment of the instalments of principal and interest, within thirty days after they
respectively become due.
£14,000—Balanceof Mortgage for £20,000, borrowed from the Metropolitan Board of Works in March, 1878, for defraying the cost of Paving the
Carriageway of various streets, and to be repaid by twenty equal annual instalments, with interest at £3 15s. percent. per annum.
£12,000—Balance of Mortgage for £15,000, borrowed of the Metropolitan Beard of Works in March, 1880, £13,000 for defraying the cost of
Carriageway Paving, and cost of Footway Paving between the Parks, and £2,000 for constructing Mortuary, and to be repaid by
twenty equal annual instalments, with interest at £3 15s. per cent. per annum.
