From the returns of the Asylums Board we find that 43 cases of
Small Pox and 135 cases of Fever have been removed from the parish,
and that five of those suffering from Small Pox and 13 of the
Fever patients died in Hospital. These 18 must therefore be added
to the 555 Zymotic deaths, raising the total to 573, and giving a
Zymotic death rate of 4.4 against 5,2 last year. The corresponding
rate for London was 3.49.
