MIDWIVES.
The fees of midwives attending the confinements of necessitous
persons are paid as regards cases approved by the Maternity and
Child Welfare Committee. There are 55 midwives practising in
the Borough.
DISINFECTION.
(a) Rooms Disinfected.—During 1932 there were 2,683 rooms
fumigated in the Borough by the staff of the Public Health
Department.

The number of rooms fumigated during each month of the year is set out in the following table:—
