Public Health (London) Act, 1891:—
130 tins meat. 250 tins cucumber.
100 pots meat. 186 tins tomatoes.
213 rabbits. 50 tins horseradish.
1 ton 12 cwt. 3 qrs. 7 lbs. bacon. 1,500 tins milk.
250 tins fish. 250 jars jam.
200 tins sardines. 24 jars sauce.
800 tins salmon. 72 jars pickles.
100 tins herrings and tomatoes. 12½ cwt. cake powders, etc.
9 cwt. 14 lbs. fish. 2 cwt. cake.
6,000 tins fruit. 11½ cwt. biscuits.
36 bottles fruit. 1 case wafers.
20 cases figs. 2 cases jellies.
5 cases dried fruit. 2 cwt. cheese.
1 cwt. dates. 7,310 boxes cheese.
8 tons 10 cwt. potatoes. 5 cwt. margarine.

Bakehouses.—There are 98 bakehouses in the Borough, 48 of
which are underground. Two hundred and sixty-two inspections of
bakehouses were made during the year and 29 notices were served
requiring the cleansing of walls and ceilings.
