Extra Nourishment.
The Scheme came into operation on 6th June, 1921, and from
that date to December 31st, 59 cases have received assistance.
The length of time each patient has been in receipt of
nourishment has varied from a few days to several weeks.
Those cases who received this assistance for a few days only
ceased to receive it on account of their removal to Sanatorium.
The Tuberculosis Officers have entire freedom under Circular
194 as to the granting of Extra Nourishment, provided
