When those persons who were non-parishioners, but who died in our
parish, have been deducted, and the outlying deaths added, the actual or
"corrected" number of deaths belonging to the Sanitary area is found to
be 2,727, of which number 1,436 were males and 1,291 females.
The death rate when calculated on this "corrected" number is 21.8
per 1,000 inhabitants, as against 24.0 for 1899.
