TRAINING. SHIPS.
The year has been remarkable for epidemics on three out of five of the
Training Ships—Scarlet Fever on the "Arethusa" ; Enteric Fever on the
" Cornwall " ; Measles on the " Worcester."
Particulars of each are given under the heading of the disease in question.
The recurrence of such epidemics, as has been on several occasions pointed
out, is more or less inevitable, in view of the environment and susceptible age
of the inmates.
