BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF MILK

One hundred and five samples of milk were submitted for examination. The results of the tests are set out below:

Four samples of Tuberculin Tested milk were submitted for biological
examination - Tubercle bacilli were not isolated.
CHEMICAL ANALYSES OF MILK
Nineteen samples of milk were submitted to the Public Analyst.
All were reported genuine.
The average composition was as follows:
Fat % 3.95
Solids-not-fat % 8.74
Total Solids % 12.69
