No statistics in the tabular form usually required by the Ministry of
Health are submitted. The Minister has not asked for this information
and, owing to the present chaotic state of housing repairs and the
difficulty in remedying defects, such statistics would not give an accurate
picture of housing as a whole.
INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
Nine samples of pasteurised milk failed to comply with statutory
requirements.
MEAT.
The carcases of all animals intended for human consumption and
slaughtered in the Borough are inspected by a qualified Inspector.
