The annual case rate for Pulmonary Tuberculosis per 1,000 of
population for 1942 was 1.06 compared with 1.08 for 1941.
The annual case rate for Non-Pulmonary Tuberculosis per 1,000
of population for 1942 was 0.14 compared with 0.19 for 1941.

It will be seen from the foregoing table that 15 deaths were registered
as due to Tuberculosis, of which 12 were Pulmonary and 3 NonPulmonary.
The figures correspond to a death rate per 1,000 of population
of 0.43 for Pulmonary Tuberculosis and 0.19 for Non-Pulmonary
Tuberculosis.
Of the 15 deaths which occurred 3 were non-notified cases, i.e.,
20 per cent. of the total Tuberculosis deaths. Investigation as to the
reasons for omission of notification is made at the request of the
County Medical Officer of Health, and the information obtained is
forwarded to him.
