Coliform Bacillus.

Craded Milk. The following samples were taken during the
year:—

Seven samples of pasteurised milk were found not to comply with
the bacteriological standard prescribed by the Milk (Special Designations)
Order.
The samples of tuberculin tested milk were satisfactory.
Tubercle Bacilli. Twenty-three samples of milk were examined
microscopically for the presence of acid-fast bacilli. A negative result
was obtained in each case.
MEAT.
The carcases of all animals slaughtered in the Borough are
inspected by the Sanitary Inspectors before being placed on the
market.
FOOD AND DRUGS (ADULTERATION) ACT, 1928.
The duties under the above-named Act are carried out in this
district by the Surrey County Council.
