There were 37 deaths from tuberculosis of the respiratory
system, 21 males and 16 females, and there were 5 deaths from
non-respiratory tuberculosis of whom 3 were males and 2 females,
giving a total number of deaths of 42 as against 45 in 1945
and 37 in 1944.
