TUBERCULOSIS.
One hundred and forty new cases were added to the
register of tuberculous persons, compared with 151 in 1943.
These additions were:—

Of these 140, 97 were primary notifications, 37 were transferred
from other districts, and 6 came to notice in other ways.
During the year 80 persons were removed from the register
for the following reasons:—
