Average time per call 49.07 minutes
Average distance per call 8.4 miles
During the war a voluntary service has been established
—the Volunteer Car Pool—which has been of the greatest
value in dealing with cases, particularly long distance cases
that present difficulties in providing the ordinary ambulance
service. It is greatly to be hoped that this service will not be
discontinued at the end of the war.
