Merton and Morden 1943

Scarlet Fever. There was an increase in the incidence
of Scarlet Fever in 1943, but as in previous years the disease
was of mild type. The largest number of cases occurred in
the month of November, and the months of September, October
and November were by far the heaviest months. There was
a total of 272 cases, the highest number recorded in the past
ten years.
