DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION.
2.—Diphtheria Immunisation Clinics (provided by the
Council).
During 1941 the Diphtheria immunisation sessions were
increased from four to twelve per month, the object being to
provide these sessions weekly as far as possible at each clinic
and obviate any confusion which may have been caused by the
bi-weekly arrangement previously in operation. In addition,
of course, endeavours were made to stimulate a response in
the parents. The time table in operation at the time of writing
this report is appended rather than those in operation during
the years under review, with the object of increasing the value
of the report for reference purposes.
During 1940 two hundred and thirty-four children under 5
were immunised and 50 between the ages of 5 and 15. In 1941
