Seventy-five per cent. of the cases were children of school
or pre-school age.
Fifty thousand units of anti-toxin were issued to practitioners
during the year and 556 swabs were examined.
Diphtheria Immunisation. The facilities for Diphtheria
Immunisation were continued as in previous years.
The number of persons immunised at the clinics, in schools
and by private practitioners during the yeay under the scheme,
is shown in the following tables:—
