Measles, etc., whilst a further 201 visits were made to foster
children under Child Life Protection. The number of fixed
Clinics which the Health Visitors attended during the year was
722 as compared with 687 in 1938.

This quantity compares with 26,161 pints free and 15,223
pints at half-price supplied in the year before.
Convalescent Home Treatment. Children requiring
treatment are sent to Convalescent Homes through the agency
of the Invalid Children's Aid Association, to whom the Council
makes a contribution towards the cost of the treatment.
