Council's Ambulance. The total number of calls received
by the ambulance provided by the Council for use in noninfectious
cases and accidents was 762, of which 339 were
street accidents and the remainder were removals to or from
hospitals or institutions. The total mileage during the year
was 5,373.
The following table shows the calls made upon the ambulance service during the past five years:—
