Inspections of these licensed premises were carried out at
regular intervals during the year in order to see that the conditions
of the licences were being observed. Fifteen samples
of graded milk were obtained for bacteriological examination
and the report on each sample was satisfactory. Two samples
were submitted for biological examination with negative
results.

Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, 1928. The above-mentioned Act is administered by the Surrey County Council and during 1937 samples were obtained by the County Inspectors and submitted to the public analyst as follows:—

Factories and Workshops. The number of inspections made to premises registered under the Factories and Workshops Act was 81.
