The 8 deaths from Pulmonary Tuberculosis represent an annual
death-rate of 0.51 per 1,000 of the population as against an average
rate of 0.72 for the ten years 1916 to 1925. There were 2 deaths from
Tuberculous Meningitis, and 1 death from Tuberculous Peritonitis.

The following Table shows the mean population, the number of cases notified and the number of deaths from certain infectious diseases in each quinquennium during the period from 1876 to 1925, the population and cases among the patients at the Queen Mary's Hospital being excluded.
