One hundred and forty-three samples of Graded Milk were
submitted for bacteriological examination. One hundred and
forty-one samples were satisfactory and two were unsatisfactory.
Communications were sent to the dairies regarding the unsatisfactory
samples.
BAKEHOUSES
The number of bakehouses in the district is 11.
Seventy-two visits have been paid.
DAIRIES
There is one registered dairy and pasteurising establishment
within the district.
During the year 13 visits of inspection were paid.
SLAUGHTERHOUSES
There are two registered slaughterhouses in the Borough; 72
visits have been paid.
