All ponds and ditches in the Borough where mosquito
breeding was possible were sprayed with paraffin twice early in
the year.
Petroleum (Consolidation) Act, 1928.—Ninety-two licences
to store petroleum and cellulose solutions were granted, totalling
145,193 gallons. A licence was also issued for 5 cwt. of carbide
ot calcium to be stored.
