Ante-natal Centres.
One Ante-natal Clinic is held each month at the Cavendish
Road and Meopham Road Centres, and one clinic each week in
connection with Woodlands Maternity Home. A new clinic was
opened at the Town Hall on May 21, and this one also is held once
a month. The doctor attends each of these clinics.
The total number of expectant mothers attending the centres
was 433 (compared with 375 in 1934 and 327 in 1933), the total
number of attendances being 2,294 (compared with 2,071 in 1934
and 1,257 in 1933).
The average attendance at each individual centre is shown in Table II.:—
