The death rate for England and Wales was 12.3 per 1,000 for
the year 1933 and 12.0 per 1,000 for 1932.
Senile Deaths.
The number of deaths of persons of 65 years of age and over
was 206, of which 94 were males and 112 females. This constitutes
38.7 per cent, of the total deaths, as compared with 40.3 per cent.
last year.
