At the 31st December, 1956, the following premises were
registered under the Food and Drugs Act, 1955, for the manufacture,
storage or sale of ice cream, or for the preparation of sausages
or preserved foods:-

Heat treatment of ice cream is now restricted to two manufacturers,
one of which is the Lido, in both places a good standard
of hygiene has long been established.
