Insect Pests
Insect pests are treated as hitherto by the application of "D.D.T " Some
concern has been expressed of certain types of insect developing an immunity to
the treatment. This can best be prevented by the use of the insecticide in
sufficient strength, as sub-lethal doses may produce immunity, and it is,
therefore, our practice to maintain an application of at least 5% D.E.T. in
kerosene.
