Ante-Natal Clinic.
Every midwife in turn attends the Ante- and Post-natal Clinics.
This procedure enables her to meet her patients with the obstetrician
in charge of the clinic and also keeps her up to date in all ante- and
post-natal work.
Post-Natal Examination.
Every mother is invited to attend the Post-natal Clinic 6 weeks after
the birth of the baby. The mother is supervised by a clinician until
quite fit.
Post-Certificate Courses attended by Midwives.
Each Midwife attended two courses of lectures during 1938 at the
following hospitals:—
