ments have been made for the examination and treatment of school
children, and co-operate heartily with the Medical Department in the
interests of the children.
Wherein the School Medical Service comes short of the needs of the
children, Tottenham is fortunate in having in itself and in the immediate
neighbourhood of Edmonton and London, hospitals for all purposes, to
which ready access is available. For purposes of convalescence, the
Tottenham Education Committee have their own Home—Suntrap Home
—at Hayling Island, and, by arrangement, the advantages of other
institutions are at your Committee's disposal (see Pages 23-4, where the
residence of special cases and their numbers are set out in detail).
